PT Sketches in Ink

Gene went to PT (physical therapy) today so I sketched inside.  It was cold about 45º F and windy so ....

I sketched in the Small travel Canson plain paper sketchbook with the Micron 03 pen.  I got the letters too big when I started the sign so then didn't worry about how even they were.  Sigh.....

Number 4 thing with alphabet - well a few letters on the sign behind the counter that divides the front from the workout area.
Number 5 simple scene - the doors on the wall to the left  The different flooring divides the front from the back.  What is behind the black doors???  Hmmm.

I could sketch with a pencil first to get a more correct size on my items in the sketches.  I just like to do fast and easy with a pen.  I can do better with some planning.  I prefer to have my sketchbook on a surface and not hold it in my lap or hand.  I've mentioned before that Susan Carlin gave me the idea to use my pen nib or pencil point like the cursor on an Etch and Sketch.  Looking side to side and top to bottom to line up my items.  That does help a lot.  Give it a try.

Glad Gene's PT gives you a chance to sketch some things for the hunt.

Thanks, Joan. They are pretty "sketchy" but it was good to get a couple in.
