Silver - Decoration iPad Sketch

I was too lazy to get out the pastel paper or move to get some ink.  I sketched on my iPad for convenience.  iPad sketches take longer than regular sketches so after I started the sketch I was wishing I had spent a few minutes to change media.

Number 3 silver - I substituted a pewter vase from Bolivia
Number 4 decoration - these are more felt flowers made by Katie/Kathy

We had a few cool days and cold mornings so got a bit of fall color and trees losing their leaves.  I was wondering if it would happen because it had been so warm.  Here are a few photos of the back yard.

Near the mailbox.

The trees are losing their leaves.
The little tree was pretty orange and now losing leaves.

I did get the tree up as well.  I did not put all the decorations on it, but it is done. Now to wrap a few presents.

Hopefully you are about ready for the Christmas and other holidays. Wishing you the best!!

I like your digital sketch of the flowers and vase. Like you, I find it takes me longer to do a digital sketch for some reason. Your tree looks very festive! I didn't put all the ornaments on my tree either. I'll have to sketch some of the ornaments while it is up. I also have other decorations I have to put out. I keep looking and expecting to see them. lol

Joan, thanks so very much. I didn't put out lots of stuff. We don't have room, we have accumulated so much stuff in the 13 years we have lived here. Can you believe we have been here that long?

Jo wonderful digital sketch. I like the colors you chose for the vase as well as the flowers. Wow - it doesn't look like winter at your place...Always amazes me how different parts of the country appear without all the seasons of change. We have snow and it is quite cold and getting colder. Your Christmas Tree looks beautiful. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hugs!

Debbie, thank you. We don't have real seasons usually or it changes every day. Beautiful today. I don't miss the snow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year back at ya! :-)
