It is already the end of Hunt 113. I got 12 done. That is about my average I would say out of the 26 items.
I sketched in the BookFactory sketchbook with a fading Micron 03 and added colored pencil.
Number 12 decoration - some of the grungy pottery animals from Chile. They are so pretty new. Gene used to buy me one every time they went to eat at Parque O'Higgins in Santiago. I had a bunch. Also the cups had little wooden saucers.
Now ....
And the way they used to look in some on-line photos of similar items:

Here is a blog post about these and my mugs from 2011 with some sketches from the Hunt from other artists for my mug collection.

I'm glad to see that these animals and the cup survived. You do have a lot of mugs and cups. Looking at the older post made me chuckle. I had a lot of mugs but when we moved after I retired I got rid of a lot of them. The kids that I taught gave me a lot of Christmas mugs...and you know there is a limit to how many you can use.
Joan, thanks. It is amazing how many mugs I have again. They seem to multiply all on their own. I do love ceramic things. Sounds like you had a similar problem. Ha. Hugs.
I bet those little pottery pieces were really beautiful at one time. It is funny how some people are drawn to our pottery booth and others walk by without a look at all. Those drawn to pottery will usually buy something, but some will say, "I love mugs, but I already have too many." I usually respond with, "You can't have too many mugs, or "But this time you are buying art."
bag blog, yep the pottery was and is so pretty. Joanna has been buying lots at the Empty Bowls so is getting quite a collection of bowls to compete with my mugs. She probably shared her new one made just for her by Spring on Instagram. I have so many mugs again and a few bowls and a special plate. Can't stop! Thanks.
