A new Scavenger Hunt so here we go again hunting our items. Gene was on his trike and asked me to bring him something as he came by so I sat in a chair by the street and sketched while I waited for him. It was nice in the shade, already over 80 degrees and humid, humid. When I finished and came in I realized I had held the Ohuhu sketchbook upside down so my sketch is topsy-turvy and also out of sequence now when you look through the book. Not that it matters, just irritating. It is a sketchbook after all.

Number 1 doorway - the garage across the street is open most of the time. Hmmm.
The bushes on the corner are Wisteria and so beautiful, but only bloom for a couple of weeks. Long past.

I'm listening to Betty Soo's new album. We had a Mothers/Fathers Day gathering on Sunday as Larry wasn't here for Mothers Day and won't be here for Fathers Day either. It was a good time at the 290 Cafe in Manor. Joanna got me the CD and a little wooden box. The box is clever made from recycled wood from old buildings in New Orleans. (There weren't supposed to be any gifts)
The box has some beautiful turquoise paint. The CD is good. Betty Soo has a beautiful voice. I guess I will pass this box down to Brandon. Who Dat? Thanks, Joanna.
Today is the fifth birthday for Henry, our third great grandson. Larry said, "Happy Henry Day! Cinco de Henry!" Made us all laugh. Can't believe how fast they are growing.
So, Happy Cinco de Henry to all of you!

Nice sketch even if it is in the sketchbook upside down. I do that too sometimes. Then it ends up being on the back of another sketch.
Glad you had a good celebratory gathering!
Joan, thanks so much. A bit scatterbrained these days. Of course I've never been too organized.
