Sketching for warm up. I will try to paint later, it is supposed to be cloudy and not too warm so maybe a painting day.
I sketched at the dining table in the BookFactory Sketchbook with a Sharpie fine line pen. The nib is about like a Micron 05.
I sketch freehand with no under sketch in pencil and rarely have any "do overs". The top of the lemon juice is too big or the bottle is too small. Got off on the garlic press a bit. The arrangement was pretty colorful with the bottle yellow and green, the garlic press in red and the cookies sort of light tan with white paper cups in a clear container.

I received a notice of new art from our friend Ron Swearingen.

Ron is a friend from wetcanvas.com and lives in Wyoming. We visited with him and his family a couple of times. Great artist and such a nice family. I especially like his western and train art. Have a look around.

Those butter cookies look very, very tempting. Nice sketches. Hope you got to paint too.
Joan, thanks. They were from Panera. Yummy for Gene. I'm still doing gluten free so ...
