I missed a day of sketching. This is a double of Day 7 and 8 for Inktober. I try to stick to the prompts for a challenge. Many of the prompts can't be sketched from life in my world. I might have to wait for a long time to see a toad in our yard. Especially since it is so dry. Drip is easier, but it was only about 50º this morning, a bit chilly for being outside to sketch a real downspout. We have a similar one where we catch a barrel of water for emergencies. I water the geraniums with the rainwater. It seems to help. In the heat, nothing helped. One of the geraniums is barely hanging on.
Inktober Day 7 drip and Day 8 toad. Sketched in the BookFactory sketchbook with a black ink ballpoint pen and a green Prismacolor 03. Drip is from my imagination and the toad is from a photo online.
Back to real life for the Scavenger Hunt. What will I find today?

For some reason I can comment on your post but not reply to what you posted on mine. I would have a hard time finding a toad too. Lol
So cute. Checking in on one of my favorite people in blogland
We have had a little rain, but the pond is low and we need more grass. Toby bought hay for the cows. Dora, the explorer longhorn, gets up in the yard every day along with her calf and other calves to eat grass and get into the hay.
Your sketches were fun!
Joan, I know what you mean. Blogger can be pretty temperamental. Don't always have time to mess with it. You must have a hard time where you are. Mary said I should have drawn a knick knack. Hmmm.
R's Rue. Thank you!
bag blog, awww, love the stories about Dora and bunch. I would love to see them. Thanks for stopping in. Thanks for the comments.
