Inktober for the month of October. You sketch in ink every day to prompts for the month. I will try to do it again. See how it goes.
I will mostly sketch in black and white, but I started off with my new dual tip pens, both the Piochoo and Wexford. There isn't any gray but I have the Dick Blick grays which I can use next time.
Number 1 Dream
Day 1, Dream - I always wanted a 1956 or 57 turquoise Thunderbird convertible with the removable hard top. My sketch is terrible, but I still like that car!
I also like the old Mustangs. We had a couple of Thunderbirds, later models, one mauve and the other dusty blue. The blue one is here on my blog. Gene won it!

You can find the "rules" and prompts here
I will post my inktober sketches here. Hopefully some of the prompts will fit in my Scavenger Hunts. We sketch from life there and I didn't have a live dream.

We had different dream cars but all of them in that era where dream cars.
Nice job on the sketch.
I didn't do the Inktober this year. I thought I would, but pottery and art council and Toby take up a lot of my time. I still haven't got that all worked out. But I looked down through all your sketches so far and thought they were great. Wish I had done some. I did blog about my latest stuff. I need to get more organized.
bag blog, you have plenty to do without doing Inktober. I wasn't going to do it and then last second I committed. The good think is I sketch almost every day anyway, just adding another different prompt from the Scavenger Hunt helps. I can draw some things from photos or such and keep busy. I would rather sketch from life and try to do most that way. Thanks for stopping in!
Hi Helen, Blogger had hidden this away again. Yes dream cars were so different then and we all had favorites. Thanks for stopping in.
