Finals for Hunt 85

Yesterday morning I sketched in the driveway.  Gene was on his trike and forgot a pill so I sat on a chair, sketched and waited for him to come by and take his pill. This is in the BookFactory sketchbook with a Micron 03 and Zig for the red, blue and yellow.

Number 16, steps or stairs - substituted the little bridge

Today we walked and I sketched from a bench in the travel sketchbook with watercolor paper so I could add color.  I used the Acurit 03 pen and added color at the house.

Number 17, plant life - by the east lake.  Acurit 03 pen and watercolor.  I wanted some orange and had already put away the watercolors.  I used one of my new dual tip pens and it was strong and wider than planned.  After I took the photo I tried softening it with water.  It didn't lift well but did at least soften.

Joanna brought me some Wexford Duo Brush Pens.  They have a brush end and a stiffer fine tip sort of like a regular Sharpie, not a pen point like the Piochoo pens that Jennie and Brandon gave me.  Joanna also brought another BookFactory sketchbook but small 5 x 7 inches for purse or???  My birthday just keeps on going.
