Two for One

Today you get the watercolor challenge for September and a sketch for the Scavenger Hunt from Life.

Yesterday I worked on the water media challenge.  Kay from Big Spring put up the photos.  I picked one of the still life photos.  You know me and photos.  It seemed to be one of the easiest for my watercolor practice.

This is in the Strathmore Bristol sketchbook, 9 x 12 inches.  It is pretty watercolor friendly.  Sue gave me this sketchbook many years ago and I'm finally more than halfway through it.  I used ink to sketch and add a few lines.

Today I sketched in the bedroom in the Ohuhu sketchbook with a Micron 02 and added a touch of watercolor in my studio.

Number 9 fur -  fake fur, a few of my fur toys from Gene over the years.

This song was on the TV Instrumental channel.  It will stick in your head beware.  The Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills.

Awww...such cute furries!

The song had better not stick in my head. lol (I didn't listen to the entire thing as much as I do like it.)

Joan, thanks. I'm getting a bit more comfortable with "real" watercolor painting. It is still easier to sketch and add a little color. I do have some cute fur toys. You don't have to listen to the whole song it is the same over and over just like a music box. Ha.

R's Rue, thank you. Have a great day.
