New Hunt 81

As I have said way too many times, "Time flies when you are having fun!"  81 Hunts already and still going.  Pretty sure there are over 600 from 2006 on.  Wow!

On the porch, nice morning of about 76º F.  Of course later it will be over 100º  -- more normal.  I sketched in the big Canson Mix Media sketchbook with some Ohuhu pens, watercolors and a white Gel pen.

Number 1, sweet - grape jelly
Number 2, spicy - Machete Salsa, something Larry likes.
Number 3, sour - a pickle, actually a dill spicy one, but pretty sour.

Speaking of many Hunts, Joan Tavolott  http://watercolorsbyjoan2.blogspot.com/ and I have been sketching since the beginning.  She lives in New York.  She came to Texas a few years ago and we met in San Antonio to have a great sketching day.  This photo came up on my desktop photos on my iMac today as a reminder.

You can see how pretty the morning was.  No rain of course.  Look how dry the grass is.  Sad.  We did get .09 inches of rain day before yesterday.  It was the first rain since we bought a new rain gauge about 2 and a half months ago.  We didn't know if it worked or not!!
