I found more items for Hunt 72 yesterday. It is always fun to find new items to sketch. We went to early dinner at Gracie's in Bastrop. It was chicken fried steak time for Gene. It is good there. I don't like the gravy because they put chicken broth in it. Why would you put chicken gravy on steak. The name?? Oh well, I can't eat it anyway so why complain. I had fried catfish in corn meal. Nice time sitting out on the front porch of the restaurant.
Number 4, made of wood - The condiment holder is wooden with a coke opener on the side and painted red. Fun.

The news yesterday was all about President Trump of course. I was interested in the courtroom sketch. I love the textures and strokes. I would like to sketch that well to recognize the players. Great sketch.

Joan, thank you so much. It was nice to be outside. Today it is 98º and high humidity so would not be good!
