Already time for Hunt 73 to come to a close. I went to the garage and quickly sketched Gene's trike. It hangs from the ceiling for storage. I sketched in the big Canson Mixed Media sketchbook with the Micron 03. Not easy to sketch standing up. And not easy to paint sitting down. Crazy.....

Lots of soft critiques from Gene. Back wheel too small, right front too large, etc. But not too bad for 5-10 minutes, right? He agreed. Gene is always happy for me to be sketching and painting .... and to be a model.

Well, LSU pulled off the win and are the Baseball College World Series champions. Congratulations! All the games were so interesting. Can't believe I watched them without the Longhorns being involved in Omaha. There will be a couple of fall ball games in October and then we wait for next February for college baseball. Always different and always interesting.

The bike sketch is great for a 5-10 minute drawing. That one wheel is kind of wonky, so when I first saw the picture without reading about the sketch I was worried Gene had had a wreck.
