An item on the Scavenger Hunt was "camera". I haven't used a camera in several years other than my phone. Too bad Larry wasn't here with one of his fancy cameras he uses for his photography. You can see his great photos here.

I dug around in a drawer and found my point and shoot, Casio. It was/is a great camera but with my iPhone I can capture on the fly without looking for the camera.
Number 2, camera - on the same page as the dragonfly with Micron 03. I didn't worry about the round circles did I?

And a photo of the dragonfly sculpture. It is signed by the artist John Running. We bought it in Angel Fire as I remember.

He makes beautiful things. He appears to be in California so maybe we got it on a trip farther northwest like in Oregon, Washington or Idaho. Hmmm. I don't see it here on the blog. I thought I had sketched it before.
Ah, here we go. I talked about "dragon fly" instead of dragonfly. It was 2015 and we evidently got it in Montana. https://jocastilloartblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/more-sketches-for-hunt-396.html
Memories are fading......
Blogger, or I should say Google, has me saving photos they stored in Album Archive for me. I don't know if they will disappear from my blog or they are just saving them where I won't have access. We shall see on July 19. I've been downloading them to save. Luckily I have the fast internet now. Doesn't take long. the longest is putting location and date on the folders. Maybe I will find some interesting photos to repost!

I'm glad you were able to find a camera. But, you coulda used the phone since it is your camera! :-) That dragonfly is pretty cool.

Joanna, thank you. My phone isn't nearly as interesting as the "real" camera. I wonder if I bought the dragonfly for you and then decided to keep it! Ha.
Jo wonderful job with camera. I still use one for my pics for blog. You are right though because with our phone the camera is always handy. I am so not handy with technology so not certain how I would get my pictures from phone to blog. Hmm - sounds like maybe I need a course or two to help me get started. Love your dragonfly...also the sculpture is wonderful. Hope you are having a super week. Hugs!
Debbie, Thanks so much. I have become so used to the phone for sketching and taking photos. With my new computer I just have my phone close and can send the photos instantly to it. I'm becoming very spoiled. Hope you have a great weekend.
Well done my friend
I should dig out one of my "real" cameras to sketch it. Somewhere I have my dad's original camera. When he stopped taking photos he passed it to me and I used it for a long time.
What is Google doing with our photos and how can we access them to save them? I'm clueless...
R's Rue, thank you so much.
Joan, it would be fun to see your dad's camera. My mom was the photographer of our family. She took mostly sunsets, rainbows and cows and horses. :-) I sent you a message I got from Google.
Ha ha ha!

Joanna, still wondering if the dragonfly is yours. Evil grin.
