Porch People

Porch sketching or sketching on the porch again with watercolors and a Micron 03 to get the day going.  An item on the list was people with the challenge to sketch more than one person.  There were quite a few groups that were walking and picking the blackberries that grow wild.  They don't stick around long enough to sketch so a compilation of sorts.

For Scavenger Hunt from life 66 in the Ohuhu mix media sketchbook with a Micron 03 and watercolor with the waterbrushes.

Number 6 all the people - It looks like the man is falling down as I got his far leg going back instead of forward.  Ha.  This is in the middle of the page, about 6 x 6 inches.

Watercolor requires more thinking for me.  That makes it much more like homework.  I have lots of practice and a love of pastels which makes the sketching sessions so much more fun.  The advantage to watercolor is there isn't much equipment to move to the porch.

Nice capture of the people berry picking. Like any other medium, watercolors get easier the more you practice. Good job!

I love watercolor for many reasons. Fast, easy, and cheap are a few. Your watercolor sketch is really nice.

Joan, thanks. You do lots of people sketches. I always enjoy seeing them and your part of the world.

bag blog, thanks. Watercolor does seem less expensive than pastels and oil. Paper is getting so expensive. Wow.

Oh Jo you do a wonderful job of showing the action with these folks. Love the dog you included too. Hope you are having a great week. Hugs!

So beautiful.

Debbie, thank you. I think the people that walk are more about taking their dogs for a walk than themselves. It is fun to people watch.

R's Rue, thank you. We walked today, mostly for Gene's PT. Hope your day was great.
