Ink and Digital Sketch

We went for some Thai noodles.  They had some basket like lamps.  I think they are new since we went the last time but when I'm hungry I may not be as observant!  I pulled out one of the coasters and sketched with a ballpoint pen.  They have two kinds of lamps so next time I'll sketch the other lamp and take a photo.

Number 4, lamp - different than the ones in our house.

 

Number 5, something I like - Gene.  I started sketching him as he was reading, thus the serious look.  About the time I got to the book, he decided to change chairs.  When he saw what I was doing he offered to stay put, but I decided I was done.  Easy decision for me!  He had on his eye patch.  His left eye is very fuzzy from the glaucoma so sometimes he sees better with it covered.  As I was fixing the photo to fit here I saw that it looks a little like he has on some sort of Texas shirt.  Not the case, he has on his Arctic Circle shirt with flags and details.  I sketched on my iPad with the app, Brushes.

I did sketch today and that is a good thing.

We had some roof damage I may have mentioned.  We have been dealing with that.  When Daryl, our AC guy came he noticed the stairs to the attic are broken.  So another thing to deal with.  Hopefully the handyman and wife are on their way now to fix them.  We did buy some new stairs.  The roof should be repaired tomorrow.  Of course it is supposed to rain tonight.  We shall see.

Our house is 19 years old.  We have lived here for eleven and a half years.  Yikes!
