Outside Digital Sketch

About 9:00 a.m. it looked like a nice morning for the porch.  I took my iPad and coffee and talked Gene into going out as well.  We were out for about 30 or 40 minutes and moved back in.  The wind came up and it is very uncomfortable out there.

Of course I was not in the mood to go get a sketchbook or pastels and easel so just opened my iPad and sketched in the app, Brushes.

Number 7 outside - I've sketched all the scenes I can see from my chair.  We did take the white covered trailer to Roger's grandson in November which left a new "bare" spot.  The big cedar or juniper tree is more visible now.  The grass is not that green, but it isn't brown either.  Hmmm,  how to show that?  Maybe next drawing it will come to me.  Any ideas?

Nice digital outdoor sketch. I haven't done a digital sketch in quite a while. I planned on getting Procreate for the new iPad I bought but haven't done that yet. I bought an Apple pencil too...but that is still in the box. lol

Thanks Joan. I don't do them often, mainly like I said when I'm too lazy to go get a sketchbook. Ha. You will probably like your pencil. There are apps that you can draw and leave your hand on the screen, so easier to use. It stays magnetized to the pad and charges there so always charged and mostly easy to find! I don't use enough of the layers and such so don't need an expensive program.

I'm always impressed with your digital sketches.

bag blog, I like doing the digital sketches but they are slow. I don't do them often enough and forget how to use the tools. I try to keep them simple like regular sketches without the undo.
