Poinsettia for 2023

 Happy New Year!

I sketched at my footstool. The artificial  flowers were on the stool waiting to be stored for next year. We don’t get real ones because of the granddogs.

#8 poinsettia - in the ArtStreet sketchbook. Full page, 9 x 12 inches with a Micron 02.

Gene read to me last night. We also played cards a while the night before. Gene does not like games. We are managing without TV. We will get a DVD player today and maybe we can watch old reruns.

We’ll get all straightened out this week.  Hope 2023 is good to you.

Happy 2023!!! Glad you got to sketch the poinsettia before it got packed away. Although it is a nuisance to not have TV, I could very easily read and be happy. Jerry doesn't see well enough to read so he wouldn't be a happy camper without tv.

We had a nice, quiet New Year's Eve...cocktails, followed by a slow dance (our first in 3 years), and a rib roast. It was nice that Jerry told me he wanted to try a dance. It was something we always enjoyed doing. Dinner was delicious, but the drinks made me sleepy and I was in bed well before the New Year came in.

Happy New Year! Sounds like you've worked out things to do until your tv service is restored. Looking forward to a healthy, happy 2023!

Joan, thank you. We will still be without Starlink for a couple more weeks. Have to hook my phone to my computer for internet on the computer. A pain.

bag blog, you are a good dog mom, just not about poinsettias. Ha. Thanks.
