Pastel Margarita Time

A new Hunt found me finishing up a sketch I started for the last Hunt.  That is a stretch which I will attribute to the down internet.  The sketch started out to be the items 'green', 'yellow', and 'blue' for the last Hunt.  For this Hunt it will be 'organic' and 'non organic'.

For Scavenger Hunt from Life 53  https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-53-jan10-18.5038/

Number 1, organic and Number 2, non organic.

And a photo of what I was doing.

It was fun to play in the dust.  The Pastelbord is 12 x 12 inches and I used a variety of pastels.  It is on a board where I wiped off a previous painting.

Anthony, from Protelum ATX,  came and re-installed the Starlink new equipment today.  He is a very nice person.  When I first called him he was in Hawaii on vacation and his phone rang at 5 a.m.  He answered as he was just going for a jog on the beach.  At any rate we gotter done.  I haven't figured the cost of our lightening strike yet.  We may claim it on insurance.  We shall see.  We had lots of waiting and wondering and rescheduling.

So glad to hear that things are all set up and working now. That was a costly lightning strike. Yikes!! You had to replace a lot. Maybe the margaritas helped pass the time. I really like the way this looks with all the color!

Lovely still life art Jo

Joan, thank you. I think that insurance coverage deductible will be about the same amount as we spent. I need to add it all up. More margaritas needed, ha.

ashok, thank you. I do like playing in the pastel dust.

Thanks, Jennifer Rose. Lightening is spooky, luckily it was only stuff. Happy to see you blogging again. Hope you are feeling well. We are just so old here and our outings are to the doctors. Ha.

The margarita fixin's is great. I love the colors and the still life set-up.

People around us are beginning to get Starlink, but not us. I don't know why. We sent them money years ago.

bag blog, I love margaritas. We went to Guadalajara yesterday and I had two. Not good for the calories. I'm smiling.
The Starlink is great except they don't have any in person tech support and it is hard to communicate by e-mail. It took a couple of weeks to get the replacement. I wrote trying to get the return label and instead they sent another modem and line. Now I have 3 things to send back and .... evidently all answers are computer generated. Sigh. Using it is sooooo nice.
You will hear someday. They seem to go by when the satellites are in line for your line of sight. Our Chuck and Libby got theirs first and we signed up before them. They didn't find anyone to install so we did and got ours running first. Ha.
