Bigger than You Sketch

The trees and all are much bigger than us.  We walked by the lakes and I sketched for a while in the Art Street sketchbook, 9 x 12 inches.  I used a Micron 02 pen and added some darker lines with the Ohuhu pens when we got back to the house.

#2 bigger thank you - the trees and pavilion, benches.

The Starlink equipment is supposed to arrive today and we have Anthony scheduled to re-install the internet for us on Tuesday.  That will be super.  We should be back to normal then.  We have repaired the garage door and DirecTV.  New TV and DVD player.  The heat and a/c all checked out.  Also the water softener.  What else???

I'm helping collect prizes for the Austin Pastel Society Annual Juried show.  You can enter, you don't have to live in Austin.  Check out the show and prospectus at https://austinpastelsociety.org  You can also join and watch the demos and see all the membership percs.

Hope you have a great week and I get in some pastel painting.

Love your sketches! By the way, let me know if you come to Michigan again. I'm not far from Grand Rapids and Saugatuck and I get over the the Flint area often -- I'm from that side of the state.

Hi Helen, thank you. Only a slight chance we will get up there as we aren't driving and traveling as much. IF we ever get there. :-)

R's Rue, thank you so much. I'm smiling.
