Ribbon in Pastel

Yay, I got out the pastels for a very quick sketch.  I got out some MiTeintes paper which I thought was very turquoise toward the green side.  When I turned on the "daylight" after I cut it I found it to be pretty blue.  What's the old saying about measure twice and cut once?  Could be for looking as well.

Number 3 Bow or Ribbon - come curly ribbon with some jingle bells

The paper is much brighter in real life, I didn't notice that until I posted here.  Also this is a very quick sketch, not a painting.  About 10 minutes??

I need to work on my Christmas cards.  I try to get them done by Valentines.

Thank you, Joan! I like to paint ribbon but did this narrow ribbon pretty quickly. Need to paint some wider ribbons.

Jo this is so eye catching. The blue paper is the perfect foil for that gorgeous orange. Hope you get your Christmas Cards done by Valentine's day. That is a wonderful goal for a winter project. Have a Happy New Year. Hugs!

Nicely done

Debbie, thank you so much. Yes, my cards are always late. Gene calls many of our family and friends on Christmas Eve day while we cook so it is OK for the cards to be late.

ashok, thank you. I'm liking your colorful photos.
