The dentist office was my sketch local today. I think we are through with the dentist for a while. I'll have the implants finished after the first of the year. Yay.
The building for the dentist is the old Depot and it overlooks the tracks and then the City Hall which is fairly new, like 5 - 8 years old maybe?? New by Bastrop standards as there are more historic homes here in Bastrop that about anywhere in Texas.

in the ArtStreet sketchbook with a Micron 02 pen and added the drops of color at home with the Zig Millennium pens.
Number 8 glass - the windows
Number 9 drab - the color of the building is beige and brown with a bit of silver tin on the top layer and the posts that hold up the porch. Nice building, but no color.
Number 10 flag - the US and Texas flags
Number 11 metal - flag poles, lamp post and bear sculptures by the lamp post. The mascot for Bastrop High School is bears. The sculptures are fun. I'll try to get a closer photo.

Nice job on the building. It needs some colorful curb appeal. Good job on the colorful flags. What do you use when you do the stripes on the flag? I seem to be resorting to finer and finer tipped pens. Right now I try to keep a Uniball Signo red gel pen in my bag for the flags...although I'm using it to write out my Christmas cards and will probably forget to put it back. Glad to hear that the implants are moving along.

Joan, thanks. I use the set of Microns, they are 005 and the Zig Millenniums that are 05. Not too many colors. I haven't started on cards yet. Sigh. Good if I get them out by February. Ha.
You should have had one special drawing book just for all the doctor and dentist's offices you visit and sketch.
bag blog, you may be right! I didn't want to sketch masks and that stuff. We spend lots of time at doctors now. Hopefully we will slow down for a while. None the rest of the month.
