I sketched at a couple of different times for the new Hunt.
Saturday we went to the eye doctor. Strange to go on Saturday, not many folks there. I think there is one doctor on call and it was Gene's doctor. I sketched the same view in the doctor's office waiting area that I had sketched previously. Last time I used it for "round". This time it was for #1 used for your health - eye doctor's office. In the travel sketchbook with a Pilot ballpoint pen.
I think the office waiting area is so different with the round ceiling lights.
Today at home I sketched on the porch in the 9 x 12 regular paper sketchbook with the Micron 03.
Number 2 keeps you cool - Gene's arm socks made of some material that blocks the sun and keeps him cool on his trike rides. Thanks to Larry!
Number 3 liquid - Gene's and my Refresh Tears for our eyes.
Gene's eyes have healed nicely and the right eye after the cataract surgery and the stent is 20/20. His left eye is not going to be better for sight. The stent has evened the pressure in his eye for the glaucoma but the damage had been done. So until he gets used to seeing mainly with one eye his depth perception is way off. It may be hard to get used to it at our advanced age. Hard to learn new things and his Parkinson's doesn't help any. Good news in a couple of ways. He can see better with his right eye and the glaucoma is under control. Yay!!

R's Rue, thank you so much. Back at 'cha.
Glad there is such improvement in the right eye. I hope Gene gets adjusted to the depth perception being off. I know I had a bit of that problem when my cataract was so bad. Luckily the body has a way of adjusting.
Those sleeves are becoming very popular. I have a few friends who use them when plein air painting.
Joan, thanks. Gene is getting used to things. Good he keeps on his trike. Hopefully he will get back into PT.
