Sketch Collection

This is sort of a sketch collection.  I'm trying to sketch a few for "my" Hunt.

For Scavenger Hunt from Life 26

https://creativespark.art/threads/scavenger-hunt-from-life-26-may30-jun-7.4048/

Number 3, comfy chair - Gene's old chair, we haven't moved it out yet.  He got a new one that lifts him up.  Sketched on my iPad with the app, Brushes.  Almost as slow as coloring with colored pencils.

Number 4, mug - One of the mugs holding art stuff.  I drew the pencils and pens first and then made the mug too big and the angles wrong on the pencils.  Oh well.  Sketched in the 9 x 12  book with a Micron 02.

Number 5, mousetrap - when we put in the new faucet I cleaned under the sink and found these so I put them on the list.  Also in the big book with the Micron 02.

The Longhorns are hosting a Regional for baseball at Disch-Falk Field in Austin.  They play tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.  We decided to watch on TV.  The weekend will be in triple digits so we will watch from the comfort of the living room.  Not as exciting, but we are getting too old to sit in the hot weather for 3 or more hours plus fighting the traffic for an hour each way.  They play Air Force in the first game.  Hook 'em Horns!

I love it.

Thanks, R's Rue. Good thing we haven't needed mousetraps!

I like the shading on the chair! We have a recliner in the bedroom that lifts you up. It is comfortable and is my "Jeopardy" chair. I sit in it more than Jerry does. We don't have any mouse traps so I'm going to have to find a substitution or skip it. Lots of detail to that trap.

Hi Joan, I guess the mouse we had a few years ago was a country mouse and he went back outside. We never caught one. Thanks, yes we need comfort for Jeopardy! and the Wheel. Thanks.

I thought you did well on the mug and the pencils, although the mug is a bit large. For mouse trap, I could sketch Rocket, my rat terrier. He is a good mouser.

Bag Blog, ahhh, fun to have a live mouse catcher. Thanks on the mug. It actually was in the fire and has gunk stuck all over it, but I didn't do that. Artistic license. Ha.
