I pulled out the regular paper sketchbook for the item, plant, on the Hunt list. I grabbed a Prismacolor Premier 01 pen/fine line marker. It turned out to be almost out of ink but that worked well for the shading on the leaves. I could slow down for the darker heavier lines. I like the results.
I've sketched this plant many times before. It is wider than I sketched it. I should have done it in landscape form to get in all the leaves.

The Longhorns (baseball University of Texas) play the Baylor Bears this weekend in Austin. We will watch the game on TV tonight. It is hot and windy. It may be windy tomorrow as well, we will see if we go or watch on TV. Hook 'em Horns!

It turned cooler here on Sunday with temps only getting to 70. I can live with that. It is the wind that has been a real pain.
