What do hominy, trees and a duster have in common?

It took a few hours to answer all the comments I had missed.  Sorry everyone.  I try to do them every day and sometimes twice a day.  Blogger seems to be working with me, so here we go:

I did a few sketches the last couple of days.

For Scavenger Hunt from Life 15

#5 canned - I decided on a can of hominy that we use for posole.  Hill Country calls it pozole.  Then I misspelled hominy on my sketch, so you decide which way you like it.  I'm thinking I will never get back to "normal" so I should just take one day at a time and be as positive as I can. This is in the small 5 x 8 sketchbook, regular paper with a Sharpie pen.

#6 in a line - the trees along the ditch between the two lakes.  You see this from the dining room or porch.  The walking trail runs along there as well.  In the same Canson sketchbook with the Sharpie pen.

#7 duster - I chose this because several of the sketchers  thought of the same item.  We were all joking about how the dusters sit  and gather dust which in reality is their job, right?  No need to actually use them and work with them.  This is in the 9 x 12 inch Canson Watercolor sketchbook with, you guessed it, watercolors.

The Longhorns won the game against Texas State Bobcats last night 9 - 8.  It was an interesting and nerve wracking game in San Marcos.  They play in Austin tonight.  We'll be rooting for the Longhorns.  We aren't going.  It is just cold enough to be really miserable by the end of the game.

It is pretty nice at the moment.  Gene is working on his walker out on the porch in the sunshine.  He was having brake problems and hopefully will get that fixed.

Hi, Jennifer, that was fast. Email notices are working. We've had the same cleaners for about 15 years. I got them to come just to dust at the old house because we had so many things from South America and the walls and cabinets looked like a museum and I didn't want to climb ladders to dust. They came and were so good that we decided to just let them come on a regular basis. They come about every 3 weeks, for dusting, mopping and general cleaning. So nice. Hope you find someone good.

Stay safe. We are finally getting most things open. Masks at the doctors office is about it. Ha.
