Small travel sketchbook finished! It is difficult to finish sketchbooks. I have several going at a time. This one is a small Canson sketchbook with regular paper. It is 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches with 100 pages, 65 lb. I started it in 2014 and it has been to quite a few places. Around Bastrop, to New Mexico and Mexico, also Kentucky and in between.
I have several of the Canson Mix Media sketchbooks in different sizes in the process of sketching. A couple of watercolor sketchbooks and some odds and ends that have been gifted to me. A couple that I bought when I forgot to take a sketchbook on a trip. When one is finished it is always a nice surprise.

Number 3, vehicle - a car in the lot at physical therapy while waiting for Gene. It looks like a compact but should be longer and bigger. Sigh.
Number 4, outdoor scene - across the street. I sketched with a Sharpie pen. About 10 minutes each.
Sketchbook done, ta-da!

Why not send a sketchbook all over the World and let every artist make a sketch in it?!

René, thanks, your idea sounds like fun. We did something similar a few years ago. The Sketchbook Project. Each artist filled a small sketchbook and sent them in. Several of the artists from the Scavenger Hunts took part.
