Colors Sketch with Watercolor

The first four items on the new Hunt are colors.  I wanted to do them in pastel but my choices had too many details for a sketch.  Watercolor seemed faster if I drew with a pen.

For Scavenger Hunt from Life 12

I sketched at the dining table on a watercolor pad, Masters Touch. 9 x 12 inches with a Sharpie pen and watercolors.  White lettering added with a gel pen.

Number 1, red  Number 2, yellow  Number 3, blue  Number 4, white

I was fairly happy with the sketch.  I do not have a lively color of blue in my regular watercolors, all tend to end up grayish.  I will look for a new tube when I order art supplies again.

Our days are full of doctors appointments.  I guess that is a sign of age.  We spend way too much time on those visits.  We hope to go listen to some music on Saturday.  Yay!

The sketch with the watercolors and pens looks great. I thought it was interesting that you have cumin on the table. Right now, I have ribbon cane syrup.

When I read your comment on the doctor appointments, it reminded me that Toby wanted me to make eye doctor appointments. So, I called the doc and had to juggle dates around Toby's ankle appointment in the City and his physical therapy appointments here. I guess we are getting old too.

Nice sketch with the color items. My days seem to be filled with doctors and medical visits too. Saw the eye doctor today and my left eye now has 20/20 vision...that's after only one week. I see her again in a month and Jerry asked me to make an appointment for him too, so we are going together. He's been having trouble reading for a long time but kept telling me he didn't need glasses. I think hearing me talk about my symptoms and the improvement from the surgery made him decide to go.

Jo such a delightful sketch. The red and blue color scheme really caught my eye. Love how you mix up your media to create these delightful pages. Sorry to read about the doctor visits. Hopefully you enjoy the music night that is coming up. Take care friend and have a good day. Hugs!

Nice sketches for the colors. It seems the same here...too many doctor's or medical appointments. What happened to us??? lol

R's Rue, thank you for the love hearts!

Joan, doctor's appointments take over. Gene will have to 4 times a week to PT starting next Tuesday. Maybe I can sketch around the area. There is a shopping center near by.

Jennifer Rose, you should know about Dr's visits. We are OK, just the normal "aging" stuff.

Bag Blog, ha, I rarely have anything on the table besides salt, pepper, and Hot Shot pepper. These were only there to sketch. Ribbon cane syrup sounds interesting.
Your doctors appointments are catching up to us! Watch out!

Debbie, thank you so much. I have so many red, white and blue kitchen stuff. It's been my color scheme for years. Some things beg to be sketched in pastel and others seem to like ink or watercolor. I bet you do some of that, too.

Sorry for the late answers to comments. I spoke to it on March 8.
