What could be better than bread and butter? That is one of my favorite treats. We don't eat much at home but I like having it in restaurants. I do eat butter on homemade flour tortillas so I don't make them that often. When I saw the promt "something on bread", I knew what it should be.

Number 8 something on bread - the leftover garlic bread isn't too bad but the butter is not successful. It would have helped to make square butter pats. We are too soon old and too late smart as the old saying goes.
Pastels on the gridded cheap paper. Only about a 20 minute sketch from taping the paper on the board to finish and step away. No need to overwork a sketch.
After the big freeze we had some sunshine on Friday. The frost was on the fence and grass.
It looked very pretty toward the lakes in the early morning sun.
Today is the same, beautiful sunshine but cold. The UT Baseball Alumni game was yesterday afternoon. We did not go. The Alumni won and they retired Huston Street's number. I would have liked to applaud that. He was an amazing pitcher.

I love bread with butter. I also love cheese on my bread and butter. Or honey. Good grief! I just love bread!
There is nothing like good bread and butter. Mmmmmm....
I saw you had some cold temps down your way. Our friends in Itasca had a little bit of snow too. Wally posted photos of the new calves out in that bitter cold. I'm getting chilly just thinking about it. I'd say "stay warm" but knowing how quickly the weather changes it may already be in the 70s. lol
So beautiful.
trying to cut out as much bread as possible, and no butter to be found here
Bag Blog, I think we feel the same about bread. I love the fresh bread and butter in restaurants. I try not to have it at home. But when I make fresh tortillas, I gotta have the butter.
Joan, thank you. Fresh bread smell, wonderful. Yes, we had some cold here. Hard on new calves. It can't decide this year. Cold a week, then warm a week. I think you have some of that.
R's Rue, appreciate that you stop in and comment. Stay well.
