It is a pretty good day when I can double up on a sketch again. This is in the big book with a variety of pens: Sharpie, Zig Millenneum (yellow), Pigma Brush and Prismacolor Chisel.
Inktober Day 16 - compass, we have an old cheap compass. Gene had a nice set of drafting tools that burned in the fire.
Number 5 for Scavenger Hunt 697 rotates to open - an old jar of pastel surface medium. Wonky drawing or blame it on the medium drying and sucking in the jar. No, just a bit off on my drawing.

It was beautiful out yesterday evening.
Our lunch in San Marcos was good. We planned to go to Palmers, but they aren't open for lunch due to the virus. Pbftt. We went to the Root Cellar downtown. It was good (I had an eggplant sandwich) but the parking is tough. At least they are open. Hope people start going out again to support the local businesses. With crazy inflation that may not happen.

It sure looks like it !!
René, this is the best time of the year in Central Texas. Not too hot or cold. It never gets really cold for long but the heat is horrible in the summer. Anyway, thanks.
lovely looking sunset 😀
we have about half a dozen of those old cheap compass' the seem to multiply
Jennifer Rose, I love sunsets. My mom used to take photos with the old box Brownie and wait for a couple of weeks to see results. No photo place in our town. Thank you so much.
I like your combination of inks to do this sketch. Nice!!
i love seeing images taken in cameras like that, get such neat looking photos
Beautiful sunset! I did a compass with a bit of zentangle, but it is not posted yet.
Joan, thank you so very much. You inspire to try different inks and pens .. even your twig.
Jennifer Rose, thank you. The newer iPhones have all sorts of lenses and ways to take photos. I have a pretty old one.
Bag Blog, look forward to seeing your zentangle. Love your sketches.
