Gallery Hanging

I have two paintings hanging at the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop, Texas.  I am a founding member of the art league.  We established it in 1997 as the Bastrop Fine Arts League.  I have not been active for the last few years.  I have done a couple of demos and attended classes there.  When we were traveling so much I didn't have any art there.  They built a beautiful new building a few years ago and changed the name of the Guild to the Lost Pines Art League.

The Lost Pines Art Center (https://www.lostpinesartcenter.org/) is located at 1204 Chestnut Street in Bastrop, Texas  78602.  Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Phone 512 321-8055

More information when there are special events.  The Lost Pines Art League has rented out the big part of the Art Center to an art school.  That has cut down some of the display area, but also means that artists don't have to be docents to hang paintings.  I put two paintings there for this session.  They will hang in the gallery until May.

Wouldn't it be cool to hang your art in a well known gallery. Toby's aunt had a painting that was in a gallery in NY City. I was impressed. Maybe some day...

Bag Blog, yes it would be cool to have art in a famous gallery. That requires lots of work and a little luck. Did you see that weird virtual painting thing that sold for $69,000,000? Greg Gutfeld on "The Five" said with his luck he would delete it by accident. :-)
