Coffee Cup Again?

Really, coffee cup?  I guess that is what has been handy.  Yesterday morning I was up early and sketched after I had my coffee so the cup and plate were handy.  I actually had a jelly filled doughnut.  That is not a usual thing and I ate it before I thought to sketch it.  Gene is the sweet eater in the house.

Number 1, jar - relish Number 2 sweet - creamed honey Number 3 cup and Number 4 plate

I had forgotten about creamed honey, my folks used to like that.  I hadn't bought any in years.   The cup and plate were what I used for my snack and coffee.  The cup is glass and double layer for thermal quality.  I have sketched it before as well as the plates  This was a blue plate.

We are off to get my second round of vaccine.  Ta, ta..

Hope you did OK with your second vaccine. What is creamed honey? I don't think I've ever had that. I've been craving sweets lately maybe because I gave up chocolate for Lent again. A donut sounds nice...can't remember the last time I had one. lol I've been doing almond biscotti for the crunch and a little bit of sweetness.

Joan, so far so good on the vaccine. A sore arm but I expected that. I love doughnuts but don't eat them very often. I could easily eat tooooo many. I usually have a couple of the little Hershey's for my sweets. The creamed honey must be whipped or something. I'll post a photo of the actual thing. It is a bit solid for spreading.

I recognized the double cup. My youngest grandson, Jethro, loves creamed honey. We keep it around for him, and because it is pretty darn good stuff.

Bag Blog, we had some tea cups from Japan that were double layer, too. This is my last out of four. I really like them because I don't like having to have a lid to keep my coffee warm. These work for just about the right time to drink a cup. I don't eat much sweet stuff but do like the creamed honey when I do eat some!
