Chocolat or Chocolate?

I put "Chocolat" on the one word movie list for Scavenger Hunt 657.  I knew I wouldn't be sketching from the movie, but from the yummy things to eat.  Not a surprise, right?

Number 3, Chocolat - a variety from the kitchen.  You can see in the photo that I put the cookies away.  I also put the candy away.  I did decide to eat the cake  .... since it was cut already.

We used to listen to Paul Harvey a lot.  He used to come to a ranch west of Magdalena in the summer to visit.  Gene worked at a gas filling station and used to talk with him.  Very interesting.  Gene got this video in his e-mail today and I would like to share it for Gene and all the policemen in the family and all the rest of our police forces.

Joan, that is for sure. I can pass up most desserts but not chocolate. Harvey had lots of good essays.

Ah, Jennifer Rose, another like minded artist! We had one fruit cake years ago that was very good, an older friend made it. The tasty cake was such a surprise. The friend quit making it, maybe because people saw it was a fruitcake and didn't eat it or try it. ,

I listened to the Paul Harvey. Being a policeman reminds me of being a teacher, although they wouldn't let us have a gun. Ha!

Bag Blog, good one! Made Gene laugh. Paul Harvey was so neat. I enjoy his commentary even in today's world.
