Coffee Sketch

I have to repeat the old saying that time flies when you are having fun. I’ve been painting on some stools that David made for the great grands so haven’t been sketching much. We went out Yesterday so Gene could ride his trike. I sketched in the car while I waited.

I had to have a latte as well. I sat it on the dash board and sketched out the window. In a 11x 8.5 sketchbook with the Micron02.

It has been beautiful here getting some fall colors.

David made some iPhone iPad stands for Roger, me and Gene.

The blue one is the Lone Star, not a football team. Ha.

We are having fun, eating too much and enjoying the family. Not much sightseeing as not much open. Our niece comes tomorrow so we are looking forward to that, too.

Jo your sketch of coffee made me smile. The girl on the cup adds wonderful detail. Your photo of fall foliage is lovely. It is always special when you capture that extra drama of colourful leaves next to the dark backdrop of sky. Have a delightful weekend. Hugs!

Glad you found a way to sneak in a sketch from your mobile studio. Tell David the iPhone stands are great!

Hi, Joan, thanks so much. I’ll tell David. He makes some really neat items.

Debbie, thank you. I was looking for the easy side of the cup to sketch. :-). Sorry I haven’t been commenting. Pretty family busy. Will visit and catch up soon.

I love the phone holders. Tell "Mr. Talented" that he did an excellent job.
