The US Air Force turns 73 years old today. Pretty cool.

Gene is 6 years older and I believe he may have had something to do with the birth of the Air Force. He said he always imagined flying when he was little. Byrd and Street have a song, My Airplane in the Backyard in the Sky. They always play it for Gene when we are in the audience. It tells his story pretty well.
And on the visual arts end today:
I've been following Mark Edward Adams, sculptor, for a couple of years. He has an amazing story and bear sculpture. Have a look:

Congratulations to Mark.

Loved the song...how great that they play it for Gene. Loved the "Walking Bear" too. You find such interesting people to follow.
Joan, thank you so much. You are definitely among my interesting people to follow. Hugs.
I'm sure Gene had something to do with the beginning of the Air Force - a place to take you far and wide.
Bag Blog, I will tell Gene what he is responsible for. :-) Thanks.
