Number 10 shoe for Scavenger Hunt 639
We'll see how it goes.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Hi Jo...from the photo it looks like your I-pad will be a great help as you travel. Hope you are well and safe.
Glad you are practicing to post. I always have a hard time when I try to post to my blog from my iPad. Where are you heading?
This is great, Jo. I have NO clue how to draw on an iPad. Another thing my grandkids can teach me...I would imagine how fun it would be on a trip. Enjoy your vacation. We cancelled ours to Arizona....it wasn't worth it.. SAD!!
But there's always next year....
hmuxo, using the iPad or iPhone is a bit like finger painting. You can zoom it to get fine detail if you want. I just sketch and use as few "undo"s as possible. Ha. It takes longer than regular sketching but can be fun. I forget how to use different parts, brushes or colors and have to learn again if I don't use it much. Each app is a bit different as well. ArtRage seems to be popular. I use Brushes because I used it first. I have SketchbookPro which I can use on the computer, too, so that is nice. You can use a photo and trace or use it as background. Trial and error and delete! Fun...
Debbie and Joan, I thought I had answered from my iPad. Hmmm. Thanks, hope we get to travel. We hope to go see the great grandkids. We have 2 grands and 5 great grands in Kentucky.
I love the shoe sketch. I hope all goes well and you get to go see the grands. With all this coronavirus stuff, people are a bit weird about travel. Some of my friends in RR have been a ugly about tourist coming there. Doesn't make me want to go see any of them. Going the mountains does sound nice, but the NM governor sees to be making even that difficult.
Thanks, Bag Blog, we are going to have to check our states. We go through 3 or 4 states depending on route. The New Mexico governor is nuts. She says masks are mandatory playing golf now anywhere on the course, no rakes in bunkers and no removing flag sticks. One person per cart unless you live together. She closed all of Gallup for a while, isolating the Navajos even more. Lots of them still don't have potable water and electricity so she cut them off from food and drink. Yikes.
