Scavenger Hunt 637 ended yesterday and Hunt 638 started yesterday. I did sketch for #637 but did not get them posted until today. No particular reason or excuse.
For Hunt 637 Number 5, fruit - This is in the big book with the Micron 02 fine line pen/marker. I ate the models of cherries and blueberries as I finished. Always fun to eat the models!
For Hunt 637 Number 6, baseball - Gene's caps from University of New Mexico where he went to school, Texas State University where Larry went to school and The University of Texas where Joanna went to school. This is in the big book as well, sketched with the Micron 02 and colored pencils.
For Scavenger Hunt 638 sketched on my iPad with the app, Brushes, and the Apple Pencil. I sat out on the porch to do this. Very pleasant morning.

Good to see that you finished a little more sketching for the hunt. I haven't done much sketching lately...for some reason I've been reading more. It seems to provide a bit of a different kind of distraction with life here. Things are progressing at a snail's pace, but at least I feel OK with leaving the house for a bit of time once in a while usually while Jerry naps. Hope all is well with you guys. Crazy to watch the reports on the virus that seems to be taking over once again. Stay safe!
I love it.

Joan, sometimes we need distractions away from our art. You at least keep up. I get over distracted! Happy you are getting out some. Hugs to you both.
R's Rue, thank you for stopping by. I like your poetry. :-)
I bought cherries yesterday. They are pretty good, but maybe not as sweet as I would like. Maybe it is a good thing they are not so sweet so I won't eat them all too fast.
At first, I thought that last sketch was some sort of coffee maker. And I thought, "Oh my gosh! What is this world coming to? Gene has gone over to the preppy side of life!" Then I saw that it was salt/pepper shaker. My world will be okay after all.
Bag Blog, I eat the cherries too fast. They are my favorite fruit. These were big and juicy. Gene loves gadgets. His coffee maker now is a single serve but makes into a little pot so he gets one and a half of his big cup.
I thought the coffee/salt shaker was some sort of pour-over coffee maker. My friend in RR used to have something that looked like that and she would heat up water and pour it over the coffee into a carafe - similar to your salt-pepper thing. It took forever for her to make coffee - standing there, pouring, waiting for it to go down, pouring more...sigh. We were planning on eating dinner with them one night. I called her earlier in the day and being a smarty-pants asked if she could start the coffee now. She bought a regular coffee maker after that.
Bag Blog, that was the old way in Bolivia to make the syrup coffee and then they would add hot water or hot milk to the syrupy coffee in your cup. They would pour about 1/3 cup and ask if you wanted water or milk. The first time Gene was served some he said, "Just fill the cup." Ha it was thick and strong. More than expresso. Ha.
