This bag is made of felt. Inside and top edge is gray with red and black plaid. It is shopping bag size, but not as tall. I wouldn't have thought it would hold up with the heavy grapefruit but it seems to be pretty strong and held it's shape well.
Number 5, basket - sketched with Zig Millinneum pens/markers in red and black.
Bag Blog, Lou, and I were discussing that we wouldn't mind being "staying in place" in the mountains of New Mexico for this pandemic. Wouldn't that be nice?? My pueblo style dream house in the Rio Grande Valley wouldn't be bad either. I would like to have one of the old houses with 3 foot thick walls and a patio in the middle and some big old trees around it. Something like this one.

We went for Schlotsky's sandwiches today. We also stopped at the 602 on Main Brew Pub for some of Raymond's wonderful Crawfish Chowder for tomorrow. Delicious.
Happy Easter! Gene's sister said we are of the age we can hide our own eggs for an Easter Egg Hunt then go out a half hour later and look for them. We won't remember where they are!

that does sound like a nice house to spend a lot of time in :)
Jennifer Rose, yes, perfect for that area, the thick walls make air conditioning unnecessary and heating very easy. Comfy.
I like the weave of the basket. Your dream for a place to spend the pandemic sounds so scenic...and probably fairly people free.
Being in the mountains would be ideal place. An old friend on Facebook has been posting old pics from the 60s of his grandparent's cabin in Red River. As kids we played all over that cabin and property. But the cabin had a big open living room - it was open all the way to the ceiling including the second floor bedrooms. It had a big fireplace on one end. It was and is my perfect cabin. A hacienda style house in the Valley, would be my second choice.
Joan, thanks. The mountains would be great about now. Not too bad right here but still lots of people when we went to get dinner yesterday.
Bag Blog, those were the good old days. Run around free and drink out of the streams. The cabin sounds great. I love the mountains but would really like one of the old adobes which aren't good in the snow with the flat roofs. Ha.
This is one of my favorites, Jo. I love the scene and the feeling.
Thanks, Regina. The tree was near Española, New Mexico. The house in my dreams. Ha.
