Stuffed - No, not a turkey. Pastel Sketch

For my turn sketching long distance with Mary, I picked a stuffed toy from the list on Scavenger Hunt 612  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?p=21701632

I had a different Teddy bear to sketch.  We bought a couple for the two youngest great grandsons.  We mailed them off today so barely had time to sketch one.

Pastel on MiTeintes paper.  The zig-zag marks don't stand out in real life.  It was fun to do and only took about an hour.  The bears are soooo soft.

I don't think Mary will mind if I post her digital of her stuffed animal.  I think she did it on her iPhone.

Fun and thanks in advance, Mary.

What a cute bear!!! Looks like the kind that is soft and cuddly! Mary's "stuffed" is cute too, but I don't think he'll be quite as soft.

Hi, Joan. Thanks, it is harder to sketch every day without my painting buddy in residence. :-)

Such a great job Jo with your bear. Glad you had time to capture this one before it was sent off for a gift. Have a wonderful day.

Thanks so much Debbie. I see we are friends and follow some of the same artists. Have fun on your abstract journey. My friend, Enid Wood, encourages me to try. She is loving abstracts in pastel. See ya!

Jennifer Rose, thanks. The bear is so fuzzy but sooooo soft, too. Should be a favorite at the other end of shipping. Ha.
