When we put up the Christmas tree, I put a little llama on the tree near a nativity scene from Bolivia. I think we got the llama at Walmart or HEB. It is so cute. I was thinking how happy it made me with such good memories. For decoration we have a new one from Jennie this year, a nutcracker from the lottery.
Number 2, make you smile/happy - the stuffed llama and reed nativity remembering good thoughts of Bolivia. Sketched with Prismacolor pens and colored pencils. I will sketch the llama again with pastels, would be nice.
Number 3, decoration - the ornament from the lottery for this year. Very cute, too. Thanks, Jennie ....and Brandon.
And the photos:
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Love the cute and colorful llama...and glad it brings back nice memories. I love all the ornaments on our tree. So many of them bring back special memories of people or places.
Joan, thank you. Our ornaments all tell stories, too. I've seen some of yours that you have sketched. So interesting and much fun! Have fun this year.
love the llama, i like ornaments that are not your typical traditional ones :)
Hi, Jennifer Rose, thank you, I like him, too. He is really just a stuffed toy but small, so.....
