I decided to start October off with the Inktober, Day 1, sketch and combine it with Scavenger Hunt 604 sketch. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1471433
Inktober Day 1, ring - the ring of water on the table
SH 604 #4, healthy - apple
#5, water - in the glass and on the table
The prompts may not go together in the next sketches. We shall see how it goes.
This sketch is in the big coffee table book drawn freehand with a Micron 02 and some of the white reinforced with a Rollerball pen.
I got the idea of the apple behind the glass from Duane Keiser, a Painting a Day painter. He is probably the first daily painter. http://duanekeiser.blogspot.com/2019/09/vine-tomato-and-glass-of-water.html
I think the water and glass would be easier to portray in color, but I don't have that many colors of ink and the Inktober sketch should be in ink.
Regina Burchett is posting her Inktober sketches on her blog https://reginaburchett.com/blog/149129/back-to-the-basics-inktober and facebook.

Have fun, see ya tomorrow!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Very cool drawing, Jo! Great apple idea. And so nice for you to share all of your fellow participating artists! Hope we have electricity by tomorrow or I’ll be stubborn and wait.
our glass looks good :) and good luck with work for the month :0
thanks for adding my blog to the post, i'm probably going to be mostly digitally inking due to needing the practice but thats ok in the 'rules' for the month (even though rules are pointless, its all about getting practice)
Hi Regina, bummer to be without power. Hope you are restored. I liked your first drawing, too. Thanks for the push to do Inktober.
Jennifer Rose, you are so busy, I'm amazed you can do a digi a day. Applause and thank you.
