Yes, it is already the end of Scavenger Hunt 596.
Actually, tomorrow is the end. I wanted to get in my "connectors" item. Something different.
Number 10, connectors
This is the trailer hitch. The top part is connected to the trailer and you can lift it up and down to match the hitch on the car/truck. The bottom part is the ball and it connects to the car/truck and held in place with a pin.
The trailer part has a safety chain which I didn't draw and connections for the lights, too. Artistic license allows for deciding what is necessary for the drawing. I'm pretty sure we will have "chain" on another list and will try to remember to use this one.
Boring to say the weather is super. The tiny complaint is that at our house we are on the side of the mountain with trees all around so we don't see the full sunsets and sunrises from here. They are beautiful up here in Angel Fire. I did take a photo of the clouds as we left Angel Fired Pizza last night. We were a little early for the color in the sky.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

I really like this sketch, Jo--satisfyingly complex without being overdone. The designs of basic mechanical things are interesting to me. And your photos (those skies!!) in this post and the previous one are wonderful--beautiful area you live in. You sort of downplayed your watercolor skills, but I found your faucet sketch charming, too. Sounds like you are enjoying the summer.
Mary, thank you for stopping by and your nice comments. Watercolor is not my thing, but I like color for sketches sometimes. This is a beautiful area and perfect weather for summer out of the Texas heat.
nice view of the mountains :)
Jennifer Rose, yep, the mountains are all around us. Our temporary home is surrounded by trees so no real view from the house. Beautiful country.
Pretty sky!
Thanks, Joanna. We always like skys, sunsets, sunrises and rainbows. Thanks to mom, your grandmother!
