Color attracted me for this Hunt so I sketched yesterday on my iPhone with the Brushes Redux app and my fingers. Today I went out and sketched in the yard with watercolors. I may figure watercolors out one of these days. I am not really going to study but will practice once in a while.

Number 4, bag - can you guess what came in this bag? The sketch is digital on my iPhone, see above.
Number 5, faucet - outside in the front yard. I sat on a camp chair. It is another beautiful day.
I did work on photos from the Paint Out. I think it is pretty much out of sight, out of mind. I am working on it.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

really great faucet sketch, love the colours :)
The bag is wonderful, Jo. So many people I know sketch on the computer app...I need to find out how you do it...it looks like so much fun...
And of course, the sketch of the faucet came out perfectly...love the camp chairs...VERY comfortable and perfect for sketching..
Jennifer Rose, thanks so much. Painting the rocks I wc was a real challenge.
hmuxo, thank you. Comfort is a big plus in painting! I have four apps for digi painting. ArtRage, Sketches, Brushes and Art Studio. Each has a few different tools or ways to save and adjust. I use Brushes more but mainly because it was the first one I started with on Gene’s phone whe I didn’t have a smartphone. Most are basic and there is cost to add extras. ArtRage and Brushes have récord and playback. Fun. Sketches works on my iMac, too.
