This was the last get together of the Bastrop Sketchers for the summer. By 10:00 a.m. it is too hot to be outside. Most folks don't want to get up at 7:00 a.m. like the plein air painters. So.... Only Mike and I were there. We had coffee and cookies at the Tough Cookie and sat on the porch and sketched the old car from above. It was actually a nice morning in the shade with a breeze. Maybe Pomona and I can get together another time before she leaves for New Mexico. She teaches watercolors at Ghost Ranch if you go there and see her say hi for me!
