Hunt 529 Starts and Boot Painting Photos

Wow, a new Hunt already.  These 9 day Hunts are flying by.  Whoosh!

Scavenger Hunt 529
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1442014

I sketched in the big book with a couple of Prismacolor marker/pens.  Freehand and quickly as is my usual thing.

It is hard to photograph the whole page in the big book, sorry.
Number 1, seed - I grabbed the pine cone for seed ... no, that is a seed pod.  I finally thought of the packet of wildflower seeds from 2012 that I never planted.  I like the packet and used the cone for an easel to hold it upright.  In case you can't read it, it says:

All Nation
Wildflower Mix

"Wherever I go in America, I like it when the land speaks its own language in its own regional accent" -- Lady Bird Johnson.

After thinking about boots yesterday, I remembered these old paintings:

 Two Steppin"

 Boot Scootin'

 Old Pets

This last painting is the boots we shared with spurs that are my brother's.  Up in smoke.  The spurs survived but are black now.

And sketches:

There are more, but you need to do something else now, right?  See you next time.

Thanks, Lou. I love boots!

Jennifer Rose, my first bright colored pair. Always had boots suitable to work in.

Fun to see the boot theme carry over to this post too. Love the paintings of the dancers and the boots themselves. Great job!

Thanks, Joan. I may get back on a "boot/shoe" theme for some small paintings.
