Gloom and doom ... what? Not anything other than the gloomy weather. I am not outdoorsy, but do not like the gloomy darkness and want it gone. I bought a dishtowel that says, "I'm outdoorsy in the fact that I like to drink wine on patios."
None of this has anything to do with art other than the fact that it is hard to create when you are gloomy. I got out the big book and a Micron 08 and went to work.
These are for Scavenger Hunt 530

Number 2, three eggs
Number 3, used to measure
The two eggs appear to be floating. They are suspended by the edges of the bowl, should have put them in the larger bowl. The bowls/measuring cups are bluebonnet design by Lea Blue at Blue Donkey Gallery. http://bluedonkeygallery.com/ She is such a talented person and good friend.
And, where is number one? I sketched a couple of days ago in the big book with Prismacolors but didn't post, so here you go:
Number 1, things in a basket - Christmas cards in the red and green basket.
I told you cold weather would arrive for baseball. The University of Texas Longhorns texassports.com/ have their first game on Friday night against the University of Louisiana, Ragin' Cajuns. http://www.ragincajuns.com/ The forecast for the three days:
Not good baseball weather at all! That looks like games may be possible but in the stands it is usually ten degrees colder, in the shade and sitting still. Brrr. Of course later in the season it will be hot and I will complain about that. Sigh..... Hook 'em Horns!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Jennifer Rose, that sure seems like a good idea! I also like to eat hot spicy foods! Doing nothing and eating .. bad combination. Ha, ha.
