iPhone Sketch for Hunt 528

I have an iPhone 6 now which gives me a bigger "canvas" for sketching.  I haven't put many applications on the phone, but do have Brushes, which is my old standby app.  It does work different on this phone.  One of the reasons I dislike apps, they update them about every 15 minutes it seems.  With limited data out in the boonies it makes for unfriendly users. Grumble, grumble.....

We were in Austin yesterday to have Gene's new Catrike serviced.  It is one famdancy tricycle with full suspension and more.  He says it is almost like riding in a Cadillac.  While the trike was at the shop we went for lunch at Threadgill's North.  Threadgill's has been around for many years.  They advertise that they serve more vegetables than anyone else or some such.  Famous for veggies and their chicken fried steaks.  I had steamed asparagus and quick fried Brussels sprouts for my sides.  A bit overcooked, but different.  They have southern grits and fried okra, etc., so maybe overcooking is a requirement for a southern restaurant.

Back to art:
The decorating tends to be music oriented as they have live music on the weekends and whenever they can.  A shelf around the wall where we were seated in a booth has old posters and radios for the most part.  There was a trombone and in an inspired moment I remembered that musical something was on the list.  Yay....

I got out my phone and sketched.  I didn't think about portrait or landscape views until I was underway and we were not staying much longer, so what you see is what you get.    I couldn't see more of the slide part anyway.

Number 6, xylophone or something that makes music - trombone.  Actually this one probably isn't used since it was up on the shelf.

Gene's Terratrike will now be for sale.  It runs great, dependable and a very nice trike.  Make him an offer!

It fits in the Escape.

I wrote out a long comment the other day , but could not get it to post. And it's the end of the month which means I'm almost out of data. Toby's mom is in the hospital, so I'm using their Wi-Fi. Bad news is that I'm on my phone. Good news is that she is doing better . Anyway , what does the new bike look like? Toby says he needs to come take a test drive.

Wishing Gene lots of enjoyment on his new Catrike. Glad you were able to sketch on your phone. Mine is too small. I need glasses to read anything on it, so I can't imagine sketching on it...but maybe it is worth a try. lol

Bag Blog, I understand, our data goes out on the 16th of the month. Toby is welcome to come try out the new trike. We will deliver the old one if you are interested in getting it!

Joan, Gene has already having fun with the new trike. Just setting up the computer, headrest, mirrors, etc. He's done some test rides, too. Loving it.
Sketching on this larger phone helps. I wish it folded for my pocket, though! I always carried my phone in my pocket along with my keys. Then if I forgot my purse, I would have my phone and keys. Oh well, I can use this phone for more things.....
