Last Sketch of 2017??

This may be the last sketch of 2017.  It is the first for Scavenger Hunt 525.

I am hosting so come on over and sketch with us.

I sketched in the big book with the Pilot fountain pen.  Boy, I haven't used a fountain pen in over 6 years.  It is like using a new tool completely.  I'm not sure where the line will start or end as you keep the pen moving so not to leave a blob or large dot.  It will take some practice again.

So a very sketchy sketch!
Number 1, beverage in container - we drink Canada Dry ginger ale, as far as I know it is the only brand that actually has ginger in it.  I hated it as a kid, now I like it a lot.
Number 2, cup and saucer - actually a cup and sandwich plate.  No saucers in our house.
Number 3, snack - yogurt
Number 4, folded cloth - napkin
Number 5, seasonal - Gene's new Trivia calendar.  He posts the trivia every morning to our family group on Telegram and we attempt to answer, then he posts the answer later.  We all have fun.  Gene and I used to do it between just the two of us.  We thought we were getting most of them.  Now that we actually write our guesses, we find we are "half smart" as Roger says.

Hope your end of the year goes smoothly!
