Sketches for 520

A few of the Bastrop sketchers were going to meet at the Crossing again.  I questioned them, "You remember that is the day before Thanksgiving, right?"  No problem was the answer.  They didn't show.  Hope they are OK, it was just Joan and Pomona.

It was pretty cool with a brisk breeze.  I sat in the car and sketched for Scavenger Hunt 520.

Number 3, interior of car - the latte was from the Tough Cookie Bakery where we had lunch last outing.  Very good.

Then I sat in the sun at a public cement bench at the end of the parking lot with a beautiful view of the bridge and river.  I had not noticed how nice it was before.  A good spot for a painting someday.  : )

This was about 15 minutes and with the Micron 01, not very dark on the lines.

It was good to be out.  I really don't like the "breeze" which I call wind.

I like your interior of the car sketch. I have been doing a lot of sketching from inside my car lately. Either it is too cold to sit outside, or it is too windy or rainy, or I'm just too wimpy. lol The view with the bridge looks like it would be a good view for painting. Sorry some of the other sketchers didn't show. My groups from yesterday and today didn't meet because of the holiday. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Joan, yep, it looked perfect out. The breeze was strong and cool. Nice in the sun. It wasn't a scheduled meet, but one of the artists was so excited to get out. She forgot! Oh, well, I got out. Ha. You have much more stamina than I do. I stay inside when it is cold at all. Evil grin.
