Number 4, a clothes line/drying rack - the clothes line. I love to have the sheets dried outside, so Gene always fixes a clothes line for me.
It is damp and cool this morning so the sheet won't dry.
La Grange, where we go to the Bugle Boy was flooded and several hundred homes destroyed. We try to help locally if we can, then go to the big picture. We will go to music on Friday and see what has happened there.

Too bad there isn't a way to take the water in small doses because you know it will be needed. 23 inches of rain is quite a bit. Glad it didn't cause problems for you and I fell so bad for those who had serious flooding and damage. Glad you sketched even if it was on the iPad.
I put the sheets out on the line yesterday. It was a bit windy and caught the fitted sheet - nearly pulled it off the line. But last night, the sheets sure smelled nice.
Glad you are home and settled in.
Joan, yep, 'twould be nice if the rain came in smaller doses. Hard on the flooded people. Sketching on the iPad is sometimes fun, but doesn't feel like sketching somehow. Smiling.
Bag Blog, mmm on your sheets. My dad put up a long line once with a wooden pole in the middle to hold it up. The pole would blow back and forth in the wind, too. I wonder now how it stayed up and the line didn't break.
the ipad does have some nice brush textures to use :) we try to hang laundry out as much as possible but too much rain this summer and we have to rush to take it back inside if people start cutting their lawns so it doesn't get covered in grass :/
Jennifer Rose, the app I used, Brushes is pretty basic with a dozen tools or so. I have a couple of others that have straight lines and much more. They are all learning curves so I stick pretty much with the simple.
We usually just dry sheets outside. Humid here and takes things a long time to dry if there is no breeze. We don't have anyone's grass but our own, so no problem there!
