one of the items was The colour of your hair
Another sketcher drew salt and pepper so I was inspired to copy.
We ate at some restaurant the other day and the salt and pepper came in one packet. I had not seen that before so decided to use that for my sketch.
Number 10, The colour of your hair.
The Hunt is over today. I must be averaging sketching about 8 items per Hunt. Pretty good for me. The list was from January 13, 2009, and posted by Cairomum. She is British and was living in Cairo, thus the spelling on colour. The list was recycled by Joe in Florida.
I had a quote yesterday in my puzzle book:
"An intellectual is someone who can listen to the "William Tell" overture and not think of the Lone Ranger." -- Billy Connolly
This reminded me of a Larry story. I think he was still in single digit age or 10 at the most, we were in Peru, maybe. We were talking about classical music. Maybe I was telling him that listening to classical music when you study is supposed to help organize your thoughts and help with memory. I'm paraphrasing, but he said something like, "Mom, I listen to classical music all the time ... it is cartoon music!"
We are going to Austin to pick up Gene's trike from Easy Street Recumbents, where he bought it and it is being tuned up for our trip. Maybe we will go by the Apple Store and pick up a stylus for my iPad Pro. Hmmm.

Fun to see all your recent sketches, Jo; I think you are making a specialty of super drawings of your shoes :>).
Most of all, I loved your post for National Day of the Cowboy and your tribute to your dad. What a life story he had! The oil painting is truly lovely--from the heart, I think.
Hi, Mary, and thanks. We had some wild times with my Dad!
That Larry must have kept you in stitches while he was growing up! I am not an intellectual. Like Larry, I think of cartoons.
The salt and pepper are really good. I need to use my drawing apps more.
Bag Blog, Larry is fun. Quiet and then he says something!
The drawing apps can be fun. It takes me longer to do anything because I don't use them often enough and have to relearn every time I sketch with them. Got a new Apple Pencil to go with the iPad pro. Wasted a few hours already. I think my fingers do almost as much. Ha!
